Fiction made real — Luna & Leaf began as a place in a story. It’s the magical bookshop at the heart of my upcoming young adult fantasy series, Centennial Shadows — and like the best fictional places, it refused to stay on the page. So I built it. The shop you can walk into today, in the old town of Estepona, is a doorway to where stories come to life.
The Writer Behind the Shop
I’m an award-winning American screenwriter and children’s author, — my work spans TV pilots, feature screenplays and Christmas movies, alongside books for younger readers. Years of writing across film, television and the page taught me how a good story pulls you in and makes you feel like you’re home. That’s the feeling I wanted the shop to have.
More than a Bookshop
More than a bookshop The best part of making a dream real is sharing it. Through our Writers-in-Residence Fellowship, I give other writers what every story needs to grow — time, space, and a little inspiration on the Spanish coast. And through Story Stays, you can step into the dream yourself: help run a cozy bookshop in a Spanish village, stay nearby, and have your own main-character moment by the sea.
